What is Al Muhajabat pricing policy?
We try very hard to keep our pricing consistent when shopping online.
Occasionally, our pricing may reflect slight differences due to special
promotions. Please feel free to email info@almuhajabat.com
or call 1.510.713.2223 anytime, if you have any questions concerning
our pricing policy. We reserve the right to correct prices that are
incorrect online.
Does Al Muhajabat offer price adjustments on online purchases?
We welcome you to visit us often and keep in touch by signing your email
address to our newsletter for current sales. We do not offer price
adjustments on purchases.
Is it safe to use my credit card over the Internet?
Yes. We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to protect the security
of your credit card information as it is transmitted to us.
SSL is the gold standard in Internet encryption technology, which is
a fancy way of saying that it's a highly sophisticated method of scrambling
data as it travels from your computer to our website's servers.
How can I check to make sure my connection is secure?
Look at the lower left-hand corner of your browser window after accessing
the server. If you see an unbroken key or a closed lock (depending on
your browser), then SSL is active and the server is secure. You can
also double-check by looking at the URL line of your browser. When accessing
a secure server, the first characters of the site address will change
from "http" to "https."
I put items in my basket, but they are no longer there.
The problem
usually occurs when security settings are too high, and the use of cookies
is disabled. Please enable cookies. Also, if you are using
the Mozilla browser, we advise you to use Internet Explorer instead
If you can't access the secure server for any reason, please place your
order by calling one of our friendly staff at 1.510.713.2223.
Some versions of browsers and some firewalls don't permit communication
through secure servers. In that case, you won't be able to connect to
the server and therefore won't be able to place an order through an
insecure connection.
How do I place an order?
When you're done shopping, click "checkout" to place your
order. All of the items in your shopping bag appear in your order during
checkout. If you don't want to order all of the items, simply edit your
shopping bag before proceeding to checkout.
During checkout, you will be asked to provide:
- Your e-mail address and password, for security
purposes
- Your credit card billing address
- The address you want to ship to
- Any gift-wrapping requests
- Your preferred shipping method
- Any promotional codes you have received
- Your credit card type, number and expiration
date.
What is a promotional code and how do I use it?
Whenever you receive a special offer for purchases at Al Muhajabat,
you will also receive a promotional code to use. This code lets us know
that the special offer should be applied to your order.
Using the code is easy. Just shop and check out as you normally would.
When you get to the billing information page of checkout, remember to
check the box indicating that you have a code to use. Enter your promotional
code in the space provided and complete the checkout process.
What if my promotional code doesn't work?
If there is any problem with the promotional code you've entered, there
will be an error message to let you know how to correct the problem
before you can continue to check out.
Can I change my order during checkout?
Yes. The "final review" page lists your order information
and gives you a last chance to make any changes. Your order will not
be placed and your credit card will not be charged if you do not click
"submit order."
How can I be sure my order has been received?
When you enter your credit card information and click "submit order"
on the final review page, we'll give you an order confirmation number.
You will also receive an e-mail confirming that your order has been
received within approximately 24 hours. We will send you another e-mail
to notify you when your order has been shipped and that we've charged
your credit card.
Is there a way to speed up the checkout process?
Yes. Register and create a log in name at almuhajabat.com and
you can store your billing and shipping information on our secure server,
so you won't have to type them in every time you check out.
What forms of payment does Al Muhajabat accept?
Al Muhajabat accepts the following forms of payment:
- Visa, Master Card, Amex
- Online Gift Certificate
- We don’t accept checks, but use your “debit
card” that works with your checking account
What is a billing address?
Your billing address
is the address you use to have your credit card bill go to. Whatever
US address your bill goes to, that is your billing
address. It may be different than your shipping address, that’s
okay; we want to ensure your internet safety, so you must have a correct
address for billing. Both the house address and the zip code must be
correct, and be in the USA
for us to accept your payment.

How is sales tax calculated for my order?
We are required to
collect tax in California.
